The EasyLift facelift was developed by Dr. Kevin McBride to help his patients obtain the best result with the least surgery and recovery time possible. Dr. McBride modified the best features of established techniques, and combined them to make everything easier for the patient. 

				
It is performed under light general anesthesia and a long lasting local anesthetic in our office surgical suite. 

				
The EasyLift procedure uses an ideal incision line in front of the ear but uses a very short incision behind the ear. The fat and muscle are lifted and tightened, not removed as they are in the more invasive techniques. There is less swelling and bruising, and the cheek fullness is increased to provide a more youthful cheek appearance. The skin is repositioned up and back toward the ear where the excess is removed and meticulous closure is performed. 

				
The EasyLift is simpler than other techniques, but is extremely effective because of the meticulous surgical technique. The ÒeasyÓ part of the procedure is the simplified recovery and reduced down time experienced by the patient. An EasyLift face lift takes about three hours. You will have some discomfort and a feeling of tightness, but there is usually very little or no pain.  Dr. McBride is a very friendly surgeon who will spend considerable time with you to get to know you well, answer all your questions, select the treatment that best meets your goals, provide the best support before and after treatment, and strive to provide the best surgical results possible.  Dr. McBride says "I never leave the operating room until the result is as good as it can be." 

					
 In practice for over 20 years, Dr. McBride's training and expertise focus exclusively on surgical procedures of the head and neck.  Today, most of his practice is facial cosmetic surgery and skin care.

					
 He is Board Certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy or Cosmetic Surgery.  He is Past President of the Texas Cosmetic Surgical Society. He completed a general practice internship, a two-year anesthesiology residency and a maxillofacial surgery residency.  He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.

					
 He has developed innovative new techniques to simplify surgery and improve the results. Dr. McBride has co-authored a medical textbook and provided extensive contributions to four others. In addition, he has authored several scientific papers.
